Community level WASH orientations for Health Facility Operation and Management Committee (HFOMC)
Under the project, Enhancing Community Health in Nepal, BNMT Nepal conducted WASH Orientation programs for members of HFOMC in sevenintervention VDCs following the standard guidelines of National Health Training Centre (NHTC). The orientations covered sessions on safe water and total sanitation; water borne diseases and preventive measures of water borne diseases; hand washing practices; techniques of water purification; promotion of healthy behaviours; household waste management and raising community awareness for proper use of toilet and environmental sanitation.
