World Tb day 2016
With the slogan “Unite to End TB” World TB Day was celebrated worldwide on March 24, 2016. On this occasion, Nepal Public Health Student’s Society (NPHSS) organized a various programmes in the slum area of Manohara, Kathmandu which includes Sputum collection, Sputum Test, Street Drama related to Tuberculosis, Poem Recitation and Group Awareness Sessions. BNMT was one of the supporters to organize this program. Psychosocial Team of BNMT facilitated with MHPSS to the TB patients in the slum area, Volunteers and Health Workers in the camp.
Simultaneously, BNMT participated in the World TB Day event oraganised by Ministry of Health and Population with the support of National Tuberculosis Centre (NTC) with participation of various divisions and departments of the ministry and civil society organizations actively working in the sector of TB control.
