Free Health and Relief Camp in Baramchi, Sindhupalchowk
On 1st July, 2015 BNMT Nepal conducted Free Health Camp and Relief Distribution Program to individuals and families affected by earthquake in Baramchi-2, Sindhupalchowk.
We would sincerely like to thank Mr. Anthony Dunnett and Jono West of International Health Partner, Dr. Pranita Bhatta, Dr. Kamal Bikram Thapa, Dr. Naresh Pratap K.C., Ms. Kabita Shrestha, Mr. Kuber Thapa, the volunteers from local school Shri-Rameswor Ma.Vi Baraamchi, volunteers from other organisations Suaahara and Janamukhi Sahakari for their immense support and participation in conduction of the free health camp. The program was conducted in the premise of Forest office.
Around 250 people from different VDCs: Baramchi, Jalbire, Selang, Golche were directly benefited from the Orthopaedic, Gynaecology, Paediatric and General OPD services. Along with this free medicines were provided as per the prescription.
We also distributed Tarpaulins to 100 affected individuals and families as per the need assessed. After completion of the health camp Essential Medicines were handed over to Baramchi Health Post, Sindhupalchowk which will be used for the treatment of those affected by the earthquake.
