Conducted Orientation on National TB Control Programme, Post-Disaster Needs Assessment (NTP PDNA) in Nuwakot, Rasuwa and Dhading for DPHO
On 02 August 2015, a team of NTP PDNA led by Mr. Raghu Dhital (WASH Coordinator, BNMT) with four officials Mr. Bimal Yadav, Mr. Rajendra Khadka, Ms. Gita Baniya and Mr. Gopi Rupakheti from NTC, Thimi, Bhaktapur visited Nuwakot and Rasuwa Districts Health Office to orient the DPHO team on National TB Control Programme, Post-Disaster Needs Assessment (NTP PDNA).
Likewise another team of NTP PDNA led by Mr. Raju Prajapati (ANRM, BNMT) with two officials Mr. Gokarna Ghimire and Mr. Ratna Shrestha from NTC, Thimi, Bhaktapur visited Dhading District Health Office to orient the DPHO team on National TB Control Programme, Post-Disaster Needs Assessment (NTP PDNA).
During the orientation, the district team was oriented on objectives of doing PDNA along with the tools and techniques. The district team included DHO/DPHO, DTLO/DTLA or TB focal person (where DTLO/DTLA is not available) is assigned as NTP PDNA focal person, Public Health Officer, District supervisors (EPI supervisor, HIV Focal person, Vector control Officer, Safe Motherhood and Family panning focal person), Administrative officer/assistant, Lab technician/officer and NGO/INGO representatives.
