Conduction of Psychosocial Counselling Support in Daman-7, Makawanpur
On 20th August 2015, Psychosocial Team went to Daman -7, Makawanpur, Thaha Municipality which is one of the earthquake affected area for Psychosocial Counselling Support.
40 women were counselled including 2 FCHV, 10 Pregnant and 10 lactating women. Besides counselling, they were oriented about Psychosocial Education and Suicidal Prevention as well.
Though the majority of women were illiterate, they were quite open and shared their feelings cum experiences. Psychosocial Team will revisit for the follow up session after two weeks.
