Construction of Gender Friendly Community toilet in Yosinkhel Area
The construction of gender friendly community toilets in earthquake affected Yosinkhel area in Bhaktapur is going on full-fledged.
The foundation of toilet has almost been completed. The piping system has been installed underneath the foundation for sewerage flow. Necessary construction materials such as bricks, cement, concrete, water tank including door and windows frame has already been ordered and available in the site. The locals from the very area including women are deployed in the toilet construction process.
A total of 245 families from the area will be directly benefited by the community toilet. The construction is being done in close coordination of BNMT, Bhaktapur Municipality and Yosinkhel Toilet User Group to address WASH situation in post disaster scenario.
