First Psychosocial Counselling session in BalMandir Primary School, Bhaktapur
Likewise on 8th July, the Psychosocial Counselling team was in BalMandir Primary School. BalMandir is a government run primary school situated within Bhaktapur Durbar Square area.
We conducted group counselling session to total of six individuals which included 2 students of class 5 and 4 teachers of BalMandir Primary School. The team has realised a need of strong psychosocial support program to both teachers and students of the school. BNMT plans to conduct Psychosocial Counselling and Support program to students and teachers separately. The school administration has also shown a keen interest to learn basic skills to better deal with students in this post disaster scenario.
