Joint Supervision Visit of BNMT Nepal and Americares Headquarters to Makwanpur
Under the project, “Health Facilities Reconstruction and Health Service Strengthening in Makwanpur District, Nepal”, BNMT Nepal along with a team of representatives from Americares Headquarters (HQ), U.S. (the donor of the project) made a joint supervision visit to Basamadi, Khairang, Nibuwatar, Makwanpurgadhi and Phakhel VDCs from 21st February, 2017 to 22nd February, 2017. They observed the new health post reconstruction sites at Basamadi and Khairang, also visited Phakhel Health Post; observed MHPSS training to non-prescribers; interacted with Health Facility Operation and Management Committee and the community people.
The guests from Americares were Mr. Michael J. Nyenhuis, President and CEO; Dr E. Anne Peterson, Senior Vice President, Global Programs; and Ms Chloe Ettari, Senior Associate, Recovery Program from the Headquarters; Mr. Rohit Odari, Country Director, Nepal; Mr. Dip Narayan Sapkota, Program Manager, Nepal and other project staffs. Similarly, guests from BNMT Nepal were Mr. Suman Chandra Gurung, Executive Director, Mr. Amod Thapa, Technical Advisor for Americares, Mr. Chiniya Lama, District Coordinator for Makwanpur and other local project staffs.
