Orientations to the Health Professionals and Community Leaders including FCHVs
Under the project, Enhancing Community Health in Nepal, BNMT Nepal conducted Community level WASH Orientation Programs for health professionals and community leaders including FCHVs in eight project VDCs. The programs followed the standard guidelines of National Health Training Centre (NHTC). The sessions incorporated topics such as safe water and total sanitation; water borne diseases and preventive measures of water borne diseases; hand washing practices; techniques of water purification; promotion of healthy behaviours; household waste management and raising community awareness for proper use of toilet.
