Psychosocial Team visited Shanti Nikunja School for Art Counselling
On 16th February, 2016, Psychosocial Team visited Shanti Nikunja School, Maruhiti, Kathmandu-20 for follow up session where we conducted an Art counseling to 31 students (25 female and 6 male).
We asked them to draw emotional wheel using different colors to express their different emotions of life. After completing their drawing, they shared their drawing with their desk partner one by one. They were very enthusiastic to learn various emotions that they have been facing in their day to day life and happy to participate in the activity. They also wrote about their problem which we will discuss in our next follow up session.
Mukunda Senchuri, a 16 year old, who was one of the student in art counseling said, “I recalled all my emotions of the past that I used to get hurt with my friends and present feeling that I still have and the way I handle it. At the end I feel very refresh. Thank you so much BNMT Nepal.”
