Third Follow Up Session at Bhagyodaya Higher Secondary School, Sankhu-10

On May 31, 2016, Ms. Aroja Maskey, Psychosocial Counselor and Ms. Maya-Lhanze Lama, Intern visited Bhagyodaya Higher Secondary School in Sankhu-10 to conduct third follow up session to 22 women from “Karmasheel Mahila Samaj Nepal”. In the first half, the participants were involved in Art Counseling on topic “Me and My Map” which enabled them to thoroughly think about themselves and the people surrounding them in their lives. In the second half, psychosocial education was provided by Ms. Aroja on the topics “Suicide Prevention Method” and “Stress management”. A short meditation was conducted at the end of the session.

Lastly, the participants expressed that they felt immensely motivated through these sessions and wished to take part in individual counseling as well.
