Visit to Tistung, Fakhel, Nibuwatar and Makwanpurgadhi of Makawanpur district
On February 26th and 27th, 2016 a team of BNMT Nepal, Mr. Sudin Maharjan – Construction Manager, Mr. Raghu Dhital -WASH Coordinator, and Mr. Chiniya Lama -District coordinator visited four health facilities in Tistung, Fakhel, Nibuwatar and Makwanpurgadhi of Makawanpur district to finalize the construction site and ensure the commitment and common understanding on prefab building construction in four VDCs and verify the legal documents from respective authorities (HFOMC, VDC and all political party mechanism). During the visit, the team met and discussed with HFOMC members, political leaders social leaders, health staff and VDC’s chair. As per the requirement for prefab type – 1 building, the HFOMCs has managed the land but yet to confirm and get approval from the respective authorities.
