Workshop on “Resilience Skills and Trauma Reduction”
Psychosocial Team of BNMT participated in two day workshop on “Resilience Skills and Trauma Reduction” which was held on 4th-5th August, 2015 organised by Second Response in Hotel Vajra, Swoyambhu, Kathmandu, with the involvement of 14 participants from various organisations.
The workshop was named as “Collaborative Resilience Training” based on self-care and trauma reduction through the resources of Senses, Social Connection and Internal Sensation.
We would like to thank Mr. Jonathan Nattel, a Somatic Psychotherapist of “Second Response” for his excellent and energetic facilitation during the entire training session. The training has further enhanced our understanding and skills on Resilience Skills and Trauma Reduction that we are committed to use the lesson learnt in our ongoing community based Psychosocial Counselling and Support Program in earthquake affected areas.
