BNMT Nepal in 5th National Summit of Health and Population Scientists in Nepal
From 10th to 12th April 2019, BNMT Nepal attended the 5th National Summit of Health and Population Scientists in Nepal organized by Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC). On behalf of the organization, one of the project managers, Ms. Kritika Dixit made an oral presentation on “Is active case finding a cost effective strategy to reduce catastrophic costs for tuberculosis treatment in Nepal?” BNMT also had two posters presentations titled “Socio-economic barriers and facilitators to engagement in MDR TB treatment: a qualitative exploration from the patient perspective” and “Community based Active TB Case finding intervention in Central Nepal”. Poster presentations were prepared by District Program Coordinators, Mr. Tara Prasad Aryal and Mr. Ram Narayan Pandit. A team of four members including Advocacy, Networking and Resource Mobilization Manager Ms. Saki Thapa and Program Associate Ms. Bibha Dhungel participated in the summit.
