Capacity building training to Local Civil Society Organizations on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and Comprehensive Sexuality Education
A 3 days capacity building training on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights(SRHR) and Comprehensive Sexuality Education(CSE) targeting local level Civil Society Organizations was conducted on 13th, 14th and 15th July, 2019 in Dhulikhel. Representatives from the downstream delivery partner organizations, viz Shree Sindhu Punarjagaran Sangh, Indrawati Community Service Center and Community Development and Environment Conservation Forum took part in the training. The training was organized under the AmplifyChange project, with the objective of strengthening civil society organizations on SRHR. The long term goal was to uptake of integrating mental health and SRHR programmes and quality services and ensure that young people are at the center of programme planning, implementation and influence policy change for an enabling environment by the partners. The training helped to foster better understanding and seek more relevant responses to diverse and changing local contexts. The training increased the participants’ awareness and knowledge on SRHR, ASRHR, national laws and policies on SRHR and CSE. The training was conducted successfully with active participation and learning attitude of the participants.
