Community Toilet Handover in Bhaktapur Municipality-1, Chokhate
A team of BNMT Nepal Mr. Suman Chandra Gurung, director of BNMT Nepal, Mr. Raghu Dhital and Ms. Aroja Maskey visited Bhaktapur Municipality-1, Chokhate and handed over the newly constructed four compartment gender friendly community toilet to Bhaktpur Municipality on 4th January, 2016. During the handover programme the community toilet users committee of Chokhate welcomed Mr. Suman Chandra Gurung, director of BNMT Nepal and presented with Bhadgaule Topi. After handover session, Mr Koju expressed thanks and gratitude to BNMT Nepal for the toilet construction initiative. Further, he said that only proper use of toilet facility can help preventing diarrhoea and sanitation related diseases outbreaks and requested the toilet users’ community to keep it always clean. Mr. Raghu Dhital, WASH Programme Coordinator hosted the community toilet handover programme.
