Coordination with DPHO Kathmandu
With lots of lives and comfort buried in the rubble of the buildings, survivors of earthquake in Nepal are in dire need of mental support. BNMT has now formally coordinated with District Public Health Office, Kathmandu to provide psychosocial support to individuals and families in 21 key affected areas within Kathmandu district.
As per the planning meeting held on 20th May, BNMT will provide technical as well as financial support to DPHO Kathmandu in mobilizing volunteers and conduction of psychosocial support sessions.
A composite team of volunteer from different field of health deployed by the DPHO will work in close coordination with BNMT.
