Hamro Swasthya App wins ICT Awards
Hamro Swasthya App has been named winner of ICT Award 2020 in special title “Jury Mention ICT Award 2020”. It was announced by the ICT in a special event held in Kathmandu on 26th December 2020. The ICT Award aims to celebrate national excellence in the discipline of IT sectors in Nepal. The award is celebrated in conjunction with the annual ICT Award conference in the capital city of Nepal every year.
Hamro Swasthya is the official App of Nepal government to disseminate information about the global pandemic, COVID19. It is a collaborative effort of a consortium comprising Progressive Engineers Association of Nepal, Soch Nepal, Naxa, Code for Core Innovations, Institute of Himalayan Risk Reduction and IT Maps and Consult. BNMT joined this consortium to support financially and provide key expertise regarding public health communications, community engagement at all levels and trustworthy information sources. The app has garnered 3 lakhs+ App downloads and 5 Million+ site views till date.
