Health Camp at Gargade School, Nagarkot
Under Enhancing Community Health in Nepal, a free health camp including Tuberculosis Microscopic Camp was organized on 12th February 2017 in Gargade School premises in Nagarkot VDC. The camp was conducted by joint effort of BNMT Nepal and DPHO, Bhaktapur.
In the camp, four rooms were run for diagnosis (Obstetrics/Gynaecology; Paediatrics: General check-up; Tuberculosis Microscopic Examination) and one room was allocated for distribution of free essential medicines provided by BNMT Nepal. Moreover, a suggestion collection corner was placed for collecting valuable suggestion from beneficiaries.
A total of 168 people of all ages, with 129 women and 39 men directly benefited from the camp.
