Health Camp for Senior Citizens in Byasi, Bhaktapur
BNMT Nepal organized free health camp including General,respiratory, Gynae and orthopedic check up for senior citizens of Bhaktapur Municipality on December 19, 2015. The camp was conducted in Bhaktapur Municipality in collaboration with Youth Initiative Group, Byasi, Bhaktapur. Youth Initiative Group managed banner, prescription pad along with breakfast/lunch and other logistics. Similarly BNMT Nepal supported medical team with drugs and other equipments. Two hundred and eighty (280) senior citizens were benefitted from free medical checkup, and medicine along with a packet of soap and oral rehydration solution (ORS) and multivitamin. Similarly, psychosocial counseling was provided to needy people.
We would like to thank medical team. It was comprised of five senior doctors namely Dr. Kopila Rai Mainali, Dr. Santosh Bajagain, Dr. Komal Thapa, Dr. Niranjan Aryal and Dr. Kulesh Thapa along with other paramedics and management staffs. The health camp was inaugurated by Mr. Prem Suwal, Member of Parliament (MP) of Nepal.
