Inception Meeting in Bhaktapur

On 30th September, 2016 Inception meeting was held in District Public Health Office (DPHO), Bhaktapur with the objective of sharing the details of the project “Enhancing Community Health In Nepal” with concerned stakeholders (DPHO, District Drinking Water and Sanitation Division Officer (DWSSO), District Agriculture Development Officer (DADO), District Livelihood Security Officer (DLSO), District Animal Health Officer (DAHO), District Education Officer (DEO), Executive Officers (EO) of three Municipalities, representatives from hospitals/PHC, health related INGO/NGOs); and developing common understanding on implementation process of the project with the stakeholders.

Distinguished government officials were present in the meeting i.e., Ms. Yasodha Aryal, DPHO, Bhaktapur; Mr. Umesh Chandra Dhaubhadel, Public Health Inspector and Focal person; Ms. Tara Sharma, District Tuberculosis and Leprosy Officer along with other district level and local level stakeholders. Similarly, from BNMT Nepal Mr. Suman Chandra Gurung, Executive Director; Mr. Raghu Dhital, Program Manager; Ms Sajana Shrestha, District Coordinator; and three community mobilizers attended the meeting.

On the whole, the meeting gathered active participation from the concerned stakeholders and ended with appreciation from the same, ensuring commitment by all to abide by their responsibilities and actively contribute in every phase for the successful completion of the project.
