Marking of the World Leprosy Day 2025
On January 2025, World Leprosy Day 2025, BNMT reaffirmed its dedication to eliminating leprosy by actively participating in the Nepal Leprosy Relief Association’s awareness rally from Basundhara Chowk. Aligned with this year’s theme, “Unite. Act. Eliminate.”, BNMT’s ACCELERATE project continues to enhance early detection and treatment of leprosy in Nepal. The event served as a platform to raise awareness, advocate for those affected, and strengthen collective action against leprosy. By joining hands with stakeholders and communities, BNMT remains committed to reducing the burden of leprosy and working towards its elimination in Nepal.
