MHPSS Help Desk at Handikhola and Manahari, Makwanpur
Continuing activities under Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Services (MHPSS) in the project ‘Enhancing Community Health in Nepal’, BNMT Nepal established a MHPSS help desk at Handikhola Health Post and Manahari Health Post on 13th February, 2017.
The help desk will be operated by the health post staffs themselves. They will provide MHPSS services such as information on mental and psychosocial problems, counseling and referral services to the patients. Moreover, BNMT Nepal has mobilized the local staffs for reporting and referring any mental or psychosocial cases seen in the communities to the health post.
