MHPSS Help Desk at Padampokhari Health Post in Makwanpur
As one of the activities under Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Services (MHPSS) in the project, ‘Enhancing Community Health in Nepal’, BNMT Nepal established a MHPSS help desk at Padampokhari Health Post on 5th February, 2017. The help desk will be operated by the health post staffs themselves. They will provide MHPSS services such as information on mental and psychosocial problems, counseling and referral services to the patients. Moreover, BNMT Nepal has mobilized the local staffs for reporting and referring any mental or psychosocial cases seen in the communities to the health post.
