MHPSS help desks at Samundratar, Sundaradevi and Balkumari VDCs, Nuwakot

Under the project, Enhancing Community Health in Nepal, BNMT Nepal established MHPSS help desks at government health facilities in Samundratar, Sundaradevi and Balkumari VDCs, Nuwakot on 8th, 13th and 17th March 2017 respectively. The help desks will be operated by the health post staffs. They will provide MHPSS services such as information on mental and psychosocial problems, counseling and referral services to the patients.

BNMT Nepal has mobilized the local staffs for reporting and referring any mental or psychosocial cases found in the communities to the health post.
