Progress on Construction of Community Toilet
On the recent updates in the community Water, Sanitation and Hygiene initiatives by BNMT in earthquake affected area; the construction of gender friendly community toilets in Yosinkhel is completed and only the white paintings on the walls remains to be done. Likewise in Maheshwari area tiles work, flooring and fitting doors is ongoing.
The construction site in Harisiddhi has been finalized. The proposed area for construction is nearby the Tafaa Khala ward office – Lalitpur Municipality. A four compartment toilet has been proposed and the Toilet User community will send design of toilet and cost estimation to BNMT within a week.
