Aashish Shrestha
Aashish Shrestha is the District Project Coordinator for BNMT Nepal based in Surkhet district, working under the Global Fund/UNDP funded Project, ‘Strengthening Health Resilience in TB program in Nepal’ since May 2025. A dedicated public health professional, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health (BPH) and brings hands-on experience from various facets of the health sector.
Aashish began his career in public health during the COVID-19 pandemic, taking on the critical role of CICT Facilitator at the Health Office, Dadeldhura. His commitment to community health deepened through his involvement in tuberculosis (TB) programs under the Global Fund TB program, implemented by Save the Children (PR) and Kapilvastu Integrated Development Services [KIDS (SR)], where he contributed for a total of 14 months.
With a strong foundation in field-based health coordination and program implementation, Aashish continues to make a meaningful impact in Nepal’s public health landscape, particularly in areas of infectious disease control and Nutrition.
