Koshish Raj Gautam
Koshish Raj Gautam is an experienced public health professional with a Master’s degree in public health. He has over 15 years of experience in health systems strengthening, disease surveillance, and project leadership across Nepal.
Currently, Mr. Gautam serves as Project Manager for Lumbini province in the project, ‘Strengthening Health Resilience in TB Program in Nepal’, a Global Fund/UNDP supported initiative implemented by Birat Nepal Medical Trust (BNMT Nepal) as a Sub-Recipient. In this leadership role, he oversees the planning, coordination, and implementation of tuberculosis interventions in Lumbini province, working closely with government stakeholders and health offices to enhance community-based TB detection, treatment, and resilience. He also oversees ACCELERATE: Accelerating to Zero Transmission of Leprosy in Nepal project and Prevent TB to End TB project. Mr. Gautam is also an accomplished researcher, with several peer-reviewed publications in areas such as adolescent health, menstrual hygiene, maternal mental health, and tobacco control.
