Namrata Kharel
Namrata Kharel is currently working as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at BNMT Nepal, Surkhet Provincial Office under the GF/UNDP funded National TB Project in Nepal. A PCL Nursing graduate with professional experience in clinical care and community mental health, her goal is to utilize her skills and knowledge to contribute to strengthening health systems and promoting equitable access to quality health services. She is committed to supporting marginalized and hard-to-reach communities.
She started her career as a staff nurse and has more than 1.5 years’ experience working in hospital sector, along with over two years of working experience in NGOs in program implementation and organization support roles. Previously she worked as a CAMH (child and adolescent mental health) Focal Person at CMC-Nepal, surkhet where is she was actively involved in implementing community-based programs, coordinating with stakeholders, and manning data reporting and documentation. She finds passion in working for the poor and marginalized communities. She confidently handels databases and documentation and is able to manage her work effectively under pressure. She is also fond of adventires and enjoys exploring new experiences.
