Prakriti Bhandari
Prakriti Bhandari is a passionate and dedicated public health professional currently working as the District Project Coordinator for BNMT Nepal in Kapilvastu district. Her work focuses on the implementation of tuberculosis prevention, early case detection, treatment support, and community engagement strategies-ensuring no one is left behind in the fight against TB.
Prakriti began her career as an Active Case Finding- Program Officer at KIDS Nepal, where she gained hands-on experience conducting field-based TB screening and awareness campaigns. Prakriti holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Tribhuvan University, and my academic and fieldwork background has strengthened my ability to design and implement community-driven health interventions.
Prakriti is passionate about strengthening health systems, addressing infectious diseases, and advancing health equity through community engagement and collaboration. She believes in building trust, listening to communities, and using evidence to create lasting change in public health.
