Strengthening Health Resilience in TB program in Nepal

Overview

Strengthening Health Resilience in the TB Program in Nepal is a project supported by the Global Fund through UNDP Nepal. The project aims to improve efforts to prevent, find, and treat tuberculosis (TB) in Nepal, especially among people who are most at risk and vulnerable.

Using new and proven methods, and by involving communities, the project will carry out focused actions to remove barriers to TB care and services. The goal is to find more TB cases early, expand access to services, improve the accuracy of diagnosis, and support Nepal’s National TB Program (NTP) in reaching its targets for TB control.

This is a nationwide project. BNMT Nepal is leading its implementation in Lumbini and Karnali provinces.
