Aastha Sharma
Aastha Sharma serves as the District Project Coordinator for the National Tuberculosis Program under GFATM/UNDP at BNMT Nepal, based in Nawalparasi West. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and a Diploma in Ophthalmic Science. She began her career as an Ophthalmic Assistant at Universal College of Medical Sciences, where she performed diagnostic procedures, supported patient care, and contributed to MBBS clinical education. At Indreni Social Development Forum, she supervised the Integrated Rural Community Health Project and coordinated training and implementation with local health units. Aastha also led TB programme activities as District Program Coordinator at Kapilvastu Integrated Development Services in Dang District that focuses on data accuracy, logistics, and district-level coordination. Alongside her public health roles, Aastha has worked as a freelance content writer, producing research-based documents, reports, and technical materials. Her experience spans both clinical and public health environments.
