Bharat Chand
Bharat Chand is a dedicated public health professional currently serving as the District Project Coordinator at BNMT Nepal in Salyan District under the Global Fund/UNDP supported National TB Project. He has broad experience in clinical research, having worked as a Lead Clinical Research Associate (L.CRA) at Medical Science Research (Beijing) Pharmaceutical Consulting Co. Ltd., monitoring multi-site clinical trials across Bharatpur, Jhapa, Sunsari (Dharan), and Kathmandu. Bharat also served as a field officer at Dalit Development Society, implementing the SMNHS project supported by One Heart Worldwide in Salyan. Committed to equity and community-centered health services, he focuses on strengthening health systems, improving service accessibility, and enhancing the well-being of marginalized and hard to reach populations. He also leads effective advocacy and sensitization initiatives at the district and local levels.
