WASH Committee Formation, Agreement and Construction of Community Toilet in Balkumari, Nuwakot
Under the project, Enhancing Community Health in Nepal, one of the activities is construction of community toilets. In view of that, WASH committee was formed on 21 January, 2017 in Balkumari VDC of Nuwakot comprising of members of HFOMC, VDC secretary, community leaders and school teachers. Total members in the committee consist of 16 people, with 3 females and 13 males.
Similarly, agreement with WASH committee for community toilet construction was signed on 31st January, 2017. In their initiation, guidance and management, construction process is on-going in the VDC.
